Passion fruit, is very good for the immune system. It starts off as the most beautiful, exotic flower I have ever seen (even more beautiful up close).
A harvested basket full of passion fruit inspired me to make a smoothie because, the amount of vitamins in recently picked fruit that has not been transported around the world and artificially ripened, is worth it’s weight in gold!
Smoothie recipe:
I blended two bananas, about a cup of pawpaw, 6 passion fruit contents scooped out and blended with a good quality almond milk. The consistency should be fluid and not lumpy. I hope you enjoy this smoothie as I did. Adjust according to your taste, if you prefer the smoothie to be a bit sweeter, blend with one date (don’t forget to remove pip).
