If your smoothie is too thick, simply add more water or even better, coconut water
Too many ingredients makes for poor food combining; just because it’s a smoothie does not mean that the digestive system is happy if there are too many nuts, different fruit and protein pouders etc. keep it simple, delicious and healthy
People often tell me that they tried a smoothie (or juice) but it did not taste good and they feel despondent. Very often it’s a simple tweak such as adding more neutral greens for example spinach or basil and smaller amounts of the greens with the more powerful taste and smell such as kale etc. Also, it’s important to add a sweet tasting fruit usually apple or dates (one or two dates usually suffice depending on the size of your smoothie). I tend to use maple syrup or honey perhaps it’s not optimal but that’s life.
